What projects/supplies are eligible for funding?
The Bellevue Education Foundation has approved funding for classroom materials, field trip-related expenses, technology items, and other requests that are specifically related to academic pursuits. As per our bylaws, we do not provide funding for athletics or extracurricular activities that do not relate to coursework. For example: we do not approve funding for team uniforms, but we will consider items that are needed for a physical education class.

How can I receive funding?

Click on the correct form above and submit the application. We will need a short description of your project, an anticipated timeline to receive your funds, a budget, and your preferred vendor to purchase the item. Your request will then be sent to your school administrator to make sure that funding does not already exist in the district's budget. Once the principal approves, the request goes on to the BEF President and voting members of the board. If the board has further questions about your request, we will reach out to you. 

Is there an amount limit for requests?
No! Requests under $700 can be approved solely by the BEF President via email. Requests over $750 are voted on by the BEF board at quarterly meetings in October, January, April and July.

How does the BEF get its money?
All funding provided by the BEF comes from generous donations from the community! Parents, neighbors, businesses, and anyone interested in supporting Bellevue schools have given to the BEF generously over the years.
